Thread Repair Kit, Taps and Inserts

Used to repair stripped or damaged threads also suitable for new applications requiring stronger threads and for changing from imperial to metric threads and vice versa.

Standard Kit:

Intermediate HSS second / intermediate tap and an installation tool
Ideal for alloys, other light materials and cast iron

Pro XL Kit:

Magnetic Tang Break Tool
Combo Tap and Installation Tool
Drill
Ideal for aluminum, magnesium, cast iron and most machinable steels

Spark Plug Repair Kit:

Provides an inexpensive repair of spark plug ports without replacing cylinder heads
Pilot nose tap included allows for accurate self alignment and successful thread repair
No unnecessary drilling required

When installing in a blind hole use a bottoming / finishing tap.
